Best (!) Editor - Not newspaper editor but a software tool

There are so many editors for general purpose editing - eg for simple text, batch file, simulator settings. My favorite is

1. Notepad ++ <http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v5.9.3.html > (Windows)

2. Gedit <http://projects.gnome.org/gedit/> (Linux)

How to search mailman archive post

Note: this might not be the best way. But I found it suitable.

1. Download desired archives (eg. http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/pipermail/j-sim-users/)
2. Download every month's archive in a specific folder.
3. Download and install Wilma from http://s3.amazonaws.com/redtree/wilma/en/help/index.html
4. Run "WilmaDesktop\WilmaDesktop.exe"
5. New index->Browse (archive folder) -> build

Now, its so easy to search archive.
